I've been teaching private piano lessons since I was 14 years old, and I received my Piano Pedagogy Certification from Manhattan School of Music in 1981.  Many of my students have gone on to win competitions, major in music at prominent universities and conservatories, and pursue careers in music.

 

I teach Applied Piano at Idaho State University, but I accept private pre-college (from age 10) and adult students, late Elementary through Advanced levels.

 

We have 3 student recitals every year. This year's schedule:

Other student performance opportunities and festivals are available throughout the year as well.

 

I teach classical piano music, with a strong emphasis on technical foundation, historical styles, tone quality, phrasing, and theory.
